About Us
Pinakigirl is initiated by Lakshmi Sharan Singh, a media professional, who strives to educate the street children who are victims of trafficking, alcohol and substance abuse. Coming from troublesome backgrounds, these street children are only drawn to pick pocketing theft and petty crimes to be able to fetch themselves drug intake for their survival. Instilling interest in education into these kids through theater was the unconventional task which Pinaki team works on.
A Nari Shakti awardee, her self-run organisation, Pinaki trains them in communication skills and educates them on child rights.
As a Founder and Creative Director of Pinaki, Lakshmi Sharan Singh conducts Literacy through theater workshop at various educational organisations like the British Council, Pearl Academy, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Culture. Recently, she has involved in teaching through theater in all the Delhi Government schools as part of the newly introduced Happiness curriculum.

Pinaki is in the business of changing and shaping lives. The work we do at our Non-Profit Organization is aimed at providing holistic education to children for solving some of our society’s biggest challenges. Children are exposed to interesting and immersive experiential activities like theater, debates and community serving for instilling values that has lifelong longevity

Pinaki was established for creating systems for imparting relevant skills and knowledge to the underprivileged children aging 5-14years. Regular workshops are created to foster their raw talent into a socially useful skills.
With financial aids from individual and institution more then 9000 kids have benefitted out of this scheme. You too can help us by donating money for this Nation building cause.
